For a unique and unfiltered insight Martin hit the streets, bars, homes and hangouts across East and West Africa with 72andSunny Amsterdam to immerse themselves in African underground culture, which explodes from the screen in ‘The Double Side’.
The film celebrates ingenious young African men who redefine the ordinary into the extraordinary, changing their usual environment into something exciting. We follow three confident young men swagger with attitude through the bustling streets of Accra in Ghana where we see a barbershop revamped in to club, a boxing ring turned in to a stage for rap battle, and conveyor belts refashioned as catwalks… everyday spaces transformed in to extraordinary experiences.
