The Arctic Circle, Northern Sweden, Ferrari's new hybrid supercar is out of it's natural habitat..
Although an unlikely pairing, seeing a Ferrari drifting seamlessly on a frozen lake is quite the watch.
Due to the current restrictions on travel, Guy Savin cut the action live from the relative warmth of our office in Soho whilst director Anders Jedenfors was on location in the freezing conditions.
The production was challenged by snowstorms, high winds and temperatures reaching -20ºC but the end result is breath-taking.
The rushes were transcoded on location and uploaded each night to MSE's FTP site. Guy edited this stunning project using our remote setup at MSE HQ with key members of production (Caspar&Co) and agency (Redwood) joining him online from around the world. With a quick turnaround needed from Ferrari it was quite the feat, but our clients were more than pleased with the result.
The design and mix were also handled remotely by Alex Wilson-Thame at Jungle. Absolute's Matt Turner crafted the grade and final post and clean up was completed by their talented Flame team. To see more of Guy's work please visit his showreel here.
