The Trussell Trust

The Trussell Trust - Professor Green visits Lewisham Foodbank

There are currently more than 14 million people living in poverty in the UK which includes 4.5 million children. The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of food banks which provide nutritionally-balanced emergency food to those who so desperately need it. The charity then offers additional empathetic and practical support to help people break free from poverty for good.

The Trussell Trust is also widening its network by running vital holiday clubs for children, budgeting classes for adults and creating local connections to help communities address the causes of poverty.

To advertise the fantastic work of The Trussell Trust volunteers, the popular rapper Professor Green joins in a session at a food bank in Lewisham to witness first hand how people’s donations really do make a difference to people facing crisis.

This touching film produced by Agile, in partnership with Unilever UK & Tesco, was directed by Jack Rettalack, cut by Owen and created by W Comms.
